Welcome to The Otis, a cozy boutique-style retreat just a five-minute stroll from the heart of Ganges on beautiful Salt Spring Island. This light-filled, self-contained suite features modern furnishings, a warm and inviting atmosphere, and a private courtyard—the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind after a day of exploring. Peaceful, comfortable, and ideally located, The Otis is the perfect home base for your island getaway.

The space
The "Otis" offers an apartment fridge and freezer, kettle, queen size bed, full size pull out couch and kitchen island with barstools. Along with a private sitting area outdoors.

Your suite is equipped with a Keurig Coffee maker, a French press, and assorted teas.

We use environmentally friendly/non-toxic cleaning products (from Canadian made company, "Mint"), and local bath products from Salt Spring Soap Works.

Sometimes Otis, our Labradoodle, will be in the yard to welcome you! He may bark a bit but he is VERY friendly. Please ensure the gate locks behind you when you come and go.

Other things to note
Please be aware that there is a very friendly resident dog named Otis. He lives in the main house and will often play in the enclosed front yard that you will enter to access your suite. He will bark at new friends but is extremely gentle.

Also, as this is a family home upstairs, the normal daily activities and footsteps may be heard. We adhere to the quiet times however and do our best to keep noise to a minimum during your stay!
